Portland’s sweeps of homeless camps

Can we really bulldoze the homeless out of existence?

With rents rising by $300, $500, or double what they were just a few short months ago, big money is forcing the 99% out of housing in Portland. Those who are living paycheck-to-paycheck, or deciding between meds, bills, or food will be at risk.

KBOO (90.7 FM) radio host Lisa Loving speaks with housing activist Vahid Brown about his grassroots coverage of the City of Portland’s sweeps of homeless camps and what is happening next.  Listen to the radio show here.
